Save your old jeans!!!

So I've been on a "non scale victory" thing lately haha!! But seriously that's what really matters! I was deep cleaning my room and closet today and found a pair of jeans that I had before this journey of mine which was a size 18! I compared them with a pair of jeans that I fit in now.
I thought this was just insane with the difference!  My dad then to me to put them on so he could take a picture so I did :)
When I put them on my jaw dropped because I was shocked! I could almost fit into one pant leg (one day) :)!! I think km gonna hold onto these jeans for those days I'm discouraged with the scale! All you guys should hold onto your old jeans!!

Hello Monday!

Ive learned to really love Mondays. Not only is it a fresh start but a reminder to make the best of the week to come. Today started out so good. I weighed in and have lost 1.2 pounds this week and I was so shocked. I'm kissin my plateau goodbye forever :)!! I saw this quote and I loved it!
I decided to be even stronger this week and give it my all!!

Today I also went shopping with a great friend of mine for a bachelorette party at the end of this month. We were suppose to get a "dressy" dress for it. I've hated wearing dresses for so long now that I wasn't looking forward to trying them on. I found one though and it felt so good to fit in a size 7!!! I wanted to cry!

The dress looks better in person haha. It's shorter than I'm use to because I was always so self conscious about my knees and legs in general. It felt good to actually feel confident in it! It's really all about the non scale victories I'm tellin ya!! I would've never dreamed to be a size 7 again!! I hope you all have a great Monday too :)

Out of my plateau!!

VSo I've been at a plateau at losing 70 pounds for a couple months and it was really getting to me! I went off weight watchers for a couple months and just started counting calories to see if that would work but...NOPE! I find that counting calories you just worry how many calories something has other than how nutritional it is for you. I would eat a reeses because it had as many calories as the strawberries I wanted. Yeah that's not the right way of thinking right? I started weight watchers again last Monday and I can say I'm officially out if my plateau and lost another 1.6 pounds :)! I jumped for joy! I need to keep reminding myself that it's the "non scale" victories that really matter. The number on the scale shouldn't determine how we feel about ourselves. I decided to take more measurements instead too so I wouldn't get so discouraged!
The picture on the right is me 30 pounds down and the picture on the left is 70 pounds down! We got to document our progress with pictures abc measurements instead of the scale! Happy Tuesday everyone!! Thanks for listening!
